Our Story
From a Union Market dairy stand to St. Louis' specialty food partner.
Fox River Dairy was established in 1910 as a liquid dairy stand in the famous open-air Union Market at the corner of North Broadway and Convention Plaza in downtown St. Louis. The Krai family ran it for two generations, followed by the Pogue family from 1980 to 1996, when Ken and Dan Probst took the helm.
On January 1, 2019, Fox River Dairy became part of Confluence Food Group, joining a family of St. Louis food companies that includes Dogtown Pizza and Crust and Sons. Through every era, our commitment has stayed the same: bringing the finest local and specialty ingredients to the tables of St. Louis.
